Dr. Pooja Baranwal is a dedicated and highly accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized expertise in arthroplasty and arthroscopy. A Gold Medalist in M.S. Orthopaedics, she has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and clinical precision throughout her medical career. With a strong focus on joint replacement and sports-related orthopedic procedures, she is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.
She completed her MBBS (2012–2017) from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital, Mumbai and her M.S. Orthopaedics (2019–2022) from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital, Mumbai. She further earned her DNB in Orthopaedics (2023), strengthening her academic credentials.
Dr. Baranwal completed her Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship in India under Dr. Ashit Shah (Jan 2024 – June 2024) and an International Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship under Dr. W.Y. Shon, South Korea (July 2024 – Aug 2024). She also completed a Knee Arthroscopy Fellowship under Dr. Nikhil Iyer, India (Dec 2024 – May 2025), enhancing her expertise in minimally invasive joint procedures.
Her surgical skills include Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement, Hemi Hip Replacement, and management of complex intra-articular and extra-articular trauma cases. She has served as Senior Resident at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital (LTMGH), Mumbai and is currently working as Assistant Professor at KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital, Belagavi, Karnataka.
